bass1958, Ive got a vendetta but its heavier than I like not sure about the newest garcias. I also like to spend a little more and get a rod with a lifetime warranty.

gchagler- Go to Powertackle .com look under their swimbait rods and look for the SB5-80 or SB4-8 and there is also the Grassmat Special – GM-73. You said you wanted a better rod w a lifetime and spend alittle more. These rods are not that heavy and by looking at your popeye forearms…lol( dont take that wrong) you shouldnt have any trouble holding these rods all day. Just remember you get what you pay for . Id rather spend alittle more and be happy than in the return section with a sticker on my rod at Bass Pro Shops or haven to wait for my rod to come back to my tackle store i trade at.

FTD007, thats a little more than I want to spend. Im looking in the 150 to 200 dollar range. They look like really nice rods though, wish I could talk santa into bringing me one. Ive got my eye on the ducket 7ft heavy right now mainly because its so light and I have a couple ducketts already that I love.
