Shot me a email well will have to have a night at the Blue Parret. JP is correct, and using any ramp is fine. Though take off will be there at that ramp. Keep signing up! I too have thought about staying at the Cove, its a nice place with great staff. My partner for this event lives in Huntsville so we have yet to work out where when we will meet for the days of fishing, but wont be a problem. PS- any one that comes from Texas has to bring me a case of LoneStar. Last Edited By: TexaBamaBass 10/28/07 11:03. Mother didnt make it. I notice some are staying at Covenant Cove, is this the old Val Monte ? Havent been to Guntersville since the old “Red Man Trail” I dont remember a ramp at the State Park, is it now near Covenant Cove are at the park off Hwy. 227. I remember the Park being between Town Creek and Short Creek. This seems like a pretty long run from old Val Monte before daylight. Please advise on these locations and near by motels. Got a room booked at Creekstone Lodge. I believe it is too far to make a predawn run on the water. Reccomendations for something closer with boat hook up? Thanks! Thanks in Advance I dont know about the Hampton Inn, but The Cove is a cool place to stay. It is on the water which is everywhere there is it seems. The cove is about 8 miles from the ramp by vehicle and is probably 3 miles by boat. Hopefully that helped some. , || bassbubba, , #40, [-], || Posts: 47(10/29/07 10:34)70.159.65.98 Reply Quote Edit Del More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore Users Posts Show/Hide Users Posts Ban Manage Hide , D || jphishing, , #41, [-], || Posts: 11(10/29/07 10:51)76.22.203.195 Reply Quote Edit Del More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore Users Posts Show/Hide Users Posts Ban Manage Hide , bassbubba wrote: Does the Cove have plug ins avavilable? Yes they have them around the hotel and on the dock if you want to keep your boat in the water. , || TexaBamaBass, , #42, [-], || Posts: 303(10/29/07 11:15)68.113.78.149 Reply Quote Edit Del More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore Users Posts Show/Hide Users Posts Ban Manage Hide , Covenant Cove has 2 places to plug in your Cat. They have a big dock out front that you can tie your boat to with plug in there. Or you can park your truck/boat on the other side and charge there. The only thing is they do not allow boats to be parked right outside your room. It is a nice place, the staff is fantastic, and the Blue Parrot is a great place to hang out. , || Davant, , #43, [-], || Posts: 9(10/30/07 08:31)74.167.197.100 Reply Quote Edit Del More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore Users Posts Show/Hide Users Posts Ban Manage Hide , Vols and Tide Team from Madison AL will not be able to make the tournament afterall. Just cannot swing the 2 day event. I would love to participate and meet other owners, but I have work conflicts on this weekend. I have not been able to use my BCB as much as I had hoped. EXACTLY where is the lunch ramp and registration location?? I picked up a new map and a ramp is listed as Little Mountain State Park Boat Ramp, off Hwy 227 near Lake Guntersville State Park. Some say they are staying at Covenant Cove and other places in town and traveling by boat in the mornings, this appears to be a pretty long run before daylight. or is there a ramp near Covenant Cove thats considered a State Ramp?? Any help appreciated. thanks Mackey , || TexaBamaBass, , #45, [-], || Posts: 305(10/30/07 06:37)68.113.78.149 Reply Quote Edit Del More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore Users Posts Show/Hide Users Posts Ban Manage Hide , My understanding is that guys are wanting to make the run up to the ramp.
