I was loosing a volt or more depending on load between the battery and the front of the boat. Occasionally, I would get a low voltage alarm on the front Humminbird. Most of the connections from the console switch panel back, had corrosion in the crimped part of the terminal. I replaced the ring terminals from the switch panel back to and including the battery (including the terminal board on the insde of the transom) and now I am withing a .25 volt front to back. Just spraying with WD does not get it, once the green stuff starts to grow its time to do something. SOme of the wires I had to cut back an inch to get to good wire. My boat is kept inside most of the time, but I am the second owner and a pro guide had it before me with I am sure it got rode hard and put up wet. Milton 04 Cougar, BTW, got caught in a horrible storm this weekend on the lake, felt as safe as a baby in its mothers arms
