After recently installing a Helix 5 DI to the bow of my 96 PII I noticed when I turn my nav lights on the graph turns off. I wired the graph into the front accessory switch so not to interfere with the nav lights. My question is am I drawing to many amps, or is my battery getting weak, or is there just not enough power at the bow to have both on at once? Please adviseThank youAndrew
Best install for your graph is to run wiring, both positive and negative, directly to the battery and fuse it close to it. Then, if you still have issues, you may need a stronger battery. From the bow, 12 gauge wire would be good.
