Topic: Front Power Pole Seat And Bushing

I just purchased my first bass boat (P4), and the front power pro(swivel eze) seat shaft doesnt work, so I wanted to replace with a new one. Purchased one (swivel eze) black seat bracket locally and when inserted into the black bushing, the shaft doesnt go all the way down to the shaft base. My new shaft has a threaded end. The old one didnt have the threaded end, which made it shorter and it slid all the way down. What kind does BCB sell? The front boat seat pole through the floor seems like its not hollow, but has a rounded metal bottom about 1″ below the bushing. I pulled the broken white bushing from the rear seat, and it was hollow all the way down. Thanks for you time, I have already learned so much about the boat from this website, and Im so excited about fishing my first tourney.

You can cut the thread off. A Little tid bit few know. One of those details you pay plenty for and others dont worry about. Most bases are open through the pin hole which allows water into those storages. BCB bases are welded bottoms or molded and cast with a base bottom to prevent the water from leaking in those areas. The bases can collect water, though there it does not spill into the storage. We do most anything we can to lower the leakage. We work hard at this and this is one of the details few know about. Thanks for the quick reply and informaton. I know if takes time to reply to all the postings and thats what made me feel confident to buy one of your boats. I love the driveability of the P4. I will get someone that has a better saw to cut it off. I will keep this power pro and still order a second leanin butt seat and new white bushing from you guys.
