I have an 09 Puma FTD and was checking my fuel lines. The 3/8″ lines from both tanks show they are A1 but the gray line going to the engine, with the primer bulb has orange lettering and shows B1. My question is if I need to replace all of my fuel lines or do I just need to replace the gray line going to the engine.Thanks,Bill

If fuel flows through it, be safe and replace it all.

The fuel line with the primer bulb IS the one that is having most issues. The others from the tank are BCB installed and they have always used the ethanol resistant A1. Replace the line with the bulb, including bulb.96 Eyra/12 Mercury 175 Pro XS with 2015 single axle trailer2017 Victory Gunner

Thanks guys!!Jignpig, that is what I was thinking also but I ordered the replacement fuel line from BCB and I got the 3/8″ line that runs from the tanks along with the bulb. Now Im thinking that I didnt need the fuel lines that I ordered but just needed the bulb and the 1/4″ line that goes to the motor. BCB, do you sell the 1/4″ fuel line that goes to the motor or do I need to check H2O Sports for this?

Those are 5/16″ lines and surely H2O has that.

I replaced mine with the kit from BCB today and replaced the whole line to the lift pump with the hose in the kit, was I wrong for doing that? or should I have left the small line in there? I broke the cheap plastic 45 degree elbow and replaced it with a 1/8″ NPT brass fitting and hose clamped the hose to that and I believe it will hold. 2009 Mercury Pro XS 250Last edited by barkerg on October 13th, 2011, 3:46 am, edited 2 times in total.
