I have went back and read all ethanol related topics and still want to make sure on this. Here in East Texas on Toledo Bend and my wife just told me we are going to start having ethanol in our gas at almost all stations. I have an 08 Cougar FTD 250 pro xs and being that im at work i had her go out and check the colors and strips on the fuel lines. On the main fuel line they are black with red strips and the other connected to the primer bulb is gray ( which is a smaller line, 0.75 mm). I understand that the black and red striped line is ethanol resistant, but is the gray line also good, and is there a primer bulb that is compatible for E10. I am going to have my mechanic check the engine fuel lines for reinsurance when i come in this hitch. I also use the quickleen everytime but im sure that will not solve the problem of hose breakdaown. I know this has been a grooling subject but after all, this web is my manual. Bless the guys on the offshore rig that blew up. It brought back memories for me since i worked on rigs when i first got out of high school back in 1980 and went through a close call out of Corpus Christi with natrual gas, just luckily we caught it before there was an ignition source.
