I am having what I think is fuel problems in a 2010 Pantera IV Mercury 200 Pro XS. The last two trips the lake and start it it starts up fine. Then when I take off I press the gas and it won’t take off and then all of the sudden it goes. The last trip after my first spot it would not start back up very well and then it would never get gas at all. I pressed the gas it once it went above 1500 ish RMP’s it would start studdering and either die or just stay there. Its like it is starving fuel.
What do I need to check for the most likely solutions? In between those trips the engine was missing so I had the plugs changed and when he did that he checked the fuel pressure and air pressure and they were both good. He does think the fuel injector #2 is stuck open but, I don’t think that is the only issue. What else is wrong? Help!
I know I need to take it in but, just wondering if it is something I can fix possibly. Thanks for any help provided.
