The smell is permeation of the tank wall. There is rear venting through the cowl vents, which point front and rear for air flow. There also are tank vents in the fuel fills on each tank of your P3. The smell can be greatly minimized by leaving the rear hatch propped open. That is also a main reason we frequently remind folks to not overfill or “pack” the fuel tanks. This a HUGE concern as we enter warm and hot weather and many will have parked their boats with full tanks and expansion is soon to occur in a hot garage. That expansion could lead to fuel spillage. Keeping the boat tanks (floor) level to reduce Expansion problems which can spill fuel in the garages. You dont drive your boat home, so it has all of the fuel you put in it. Folks dont realize that they burn the top off their vehicle tank on the way home to their garage. Hope this helps! BCB
