Well I finally got a chance to run the 24 Fury 4. Empty wells, 1/2 tank gas, solo, 65 degrees. The hole shot & acceleration is simply incredible-would give my direct drive 350 hp Malibu LX a run to 34 for sure. I saw 5920rpm-67 & very easy to drive. Cruising at 4,750 rpm-55 was extremely easy (usually was anyway) but I liked the attitude of the hull with the 4 blade. I think loaded up it felt like it would run about the same as opposed to the 25-3 blade. All in all I’d say top end is probably 3mph less lightly loaded & probably very close loaded up, but hole shot, acceleration, handling-I like the 4 blade. This is on an 07 Sabre 175proxs with about 178 hours & 6″ jack plate set at flush (approx. 3.5″ below pad). Hope this helps someone trying to figure out what prop to try. John
Should mention this was on a 700 acre U shaped lake-not a lot of room & a cross wind.
