Oct. 18th is out. Elizabeths birthday and Carolyn and I have both had stuff the last 3 years. The 25th and Nov. 1st work better. I would really like Nov. 1 – the fishing will be better every week later.John
SwannI vote Oct 25 or Nov. 1.
Cmon guys, keep it coming. How bout , Sanders Bowden Berry Luke Blakesfav Toledobasser Ward ARBCB K1/K2 RP/RP? Texas contingency . We gonna have us a good ole time !
I like Oct 25
You guys are pushing the end of the wire on time.
I have to work out my work schedule. If yall nail down a date, I can work around it. If I turn in my schedule and its on a weekend I work, its kind of hard for me to get off. Ill keep up with what is decided. Naturally the weather is nicer in October but some good fishing can be had in September. Just saying since BCB says were pushing the end of the wire.Last edited by toledobasser on April 24th, 2014, 2:36 am, edited 1 time in total.Jim EbarbMany, LA (Toledo Bend Lake)2004 Cougar/ 225 OptimaxHumminbird Helix 12 Chirp SI on BalzOut Mount at bowLowrance HDS 7 at bowHumminbird Helix 12 Mega SI on Ram Mount at ConsoleLowrance HDS 8 in dash at console
Is the GAF open to any BCB owner? If so Id like to attend and the Nov 1 date works best.Jason Ferbrache – Edmond, OK 1995 Basscat Eyra
Where do you plan on running the tournament out of this year? Im hoping to be able to be there this year.Mike
From the “ocean” comment it sounds like we are returning to Toledo Bend. Last year the lake showed itself with a strong wind which made moving around pretty tough.Jim EbarbMany, LA (Toledo Bend Lake)2004 Cougar/ 225 OptimaxHumminbird Helix 12 Chirp SI on BalzOut Mount at bowLowrance HDS 7 at bowHumminbird Helix 12 Mega SI on Ram Mount at ConsoleLowrance HDS 8 in dash at console
Yes I realize Toledo Bend, I was wondering what ramp you might go out of?
Sorry, I misunderstood. Last year we went out of Bridge Bay Resort and from an earlier conversation it sounded like some of the guys liked the accomadations as well as the central location.Jim EbarbMany, LA (Toledo Bend Lake)2004 Cougar/ 225 OptimaxHumminbird Helix 12 Chirp SI on BalzOut Mount at bowLowrance HDS 7 at bowHumminbird Helix 12 Mega SI on Ram Mount at ConsoleLowrance HDS 8 in dash at console
Any BCB Owner is welcome to attend, and we welcome you into the Great American Functions 9th year of “Feel the Rush” !Would BCB prefer Oct. 25th ? Give the qualifiers time to regroup ? Let me know !In the past our event has been hosted by L.A.D., myself and P.A., We usually cook out each night, and anyone is welcome. Hopefully Phil wont forget the scales this year, and I will get BCB bags again, and maybe even a few door prizes ! Hopefully some BCB staffers can make this one, and we will continue to develop some great memories. This was Sam Rushs signature event. He never missed one, and in fact usually showed up several days early ! We of course miss Sam, and Gary Gould also attended the G.A.F. before, and will be missed.”Hug-A-Root” guide service is the official information source for the event, and Phil will write a pre-tournament column for those who have not been to T-Bend !T-basser will give a seminar on how to run the bouys, or not !And Mike Sanders will advise all how not to choose a boater in rough water !
