No jerkbaits on the front pedestal seat. Actually Luke make sure he has no jerkbaits in the boat at all! Hate to find him stuck to a seat hunched over in lake smooch…no telling what that trot line boy would do to him if he was pinned to the seat. You know how them louisianna boys feel about men sometimes….C.O.D. Jr. III

Them boys from La. would have to use a little restraint if they saw Sam hunched over on that front seat. Especially on Lake smooch, they remember him and Joey from last year. pant 2 Bob

Ward, you might have to carry your medical bag. He will not have me to yank those hooks out of his hand this year. Youll take care and hope you have a good time. Sorry I could not be this year and will miss it. Heading up to Pickwick for my last Hoorah in the morning. Hopefully I can go out with a little bang.

Thanks from me and my LSU fan Todd. No way i could repay you for the fun we had. She wore the LSU hat Sam gave her all the way home. Big Sam the stuffed Tiger is in bed with her as i type. Every year i go its like a slice of the good life. Thanks to Luke and Doug for teaching her to drive a.golf cart, a ranger 700, and a cougar ! All in all she whacked 8 brim, 2 bass over 2, a 3+ that almost ran off with her and a KY today on the red. She even had 2 servings of.gumbo! Thanks again.guys!!!C.O.D. Jr. III

WOW, Ive never been around a group of people like the folks at Melrose ! Thank yous go out to the Difulco family, Dr. Drury, and Mr. Mike B. For all their hospitality and friendship ! All the GAF crew had grand time, but I really think I had a more memorable time than anyone else there, just simply the most pleasurable group of friends anyone could hope for. We celebrated SAMs birthday while we were together. Audrey caught a bunch of fish, drove a Cat, Polaris, golf cart, and swung on a LSU tire swing ! THE BEST GUMBO EVER MADE by Hogface and Tommy ! I didnt wanna leave, And just hope I get to return. Simply the most pleasant spot, made sooooo much more special by its inhabitants. Thank you all for the fellowship.

Im really glad I got to put faces with the names and alias. It was great meeting everyone and spending time around the fire. I wish I could have come and stayed for 3-4 days….or more, and had the chance to have a few drinks to loosen up. Maybe I would have even fished some unfamiliar waters. Thanks to everyone for the hospitality and friendship. I feel like I made a few friends and look forward to getting the chance to fish with a few of you in the future. Im sorry I didnt get to say goodbye to everyone. Sam, Doug and some others had already gone to bed and I had to head back home late Saturday night. Im already counting on next year and I will be sure that I will be able to stay longer.Luke, when you get your place on Toledo Bend set up, you need to let me know when you are here and we will spend some time on the water. Thank you for being such a gracious host. I know I have a quiet personality and I might be a little hard to read as to whether I am having a good time or not, but I promise you that I thoroughly enjoyed it. Oh its Monday morning and I wish we were still at the GAF Great time with GREAT PEOPLE—-What more does one ask for. Just keeps getting better.
