I think that everyone there would agree that the host(LAD) and hostess(LAURA) are the best on the face of the earth. My guys , Myron and Anthony were amazed at the atmosphere and nicety of all there, which again is a direct reflection of the hosts. BassCat boats every where , all colors, all sizes, old and new. Doug Swann showed out again at the grill and wayne kept the gumbo just right.Just hope I can make 2013.BAYOU BANDIT

GAF crew – this was my 3rd year to attend this event and it was a blast! thanks for the good times great food and even better friendships! Im already looking forward to next year! LAD your the MAN!Chris
Luke, Laura and the family are wonderful hosts. I appreciate their hospitality and hope to return it someday. Idaho Mike enjoyed himself – although Im not sure he could “interpret” some of the language! The company, weather and food were all great. Thank you and I look forward to next year. John
WARNING–WARNING—–Sam Rush has just been seen passing through Mississsippi–heading West –then Southwest. Suspicion is that he will end up at the BAR DITCH this evening. Everyone be alert–we all know how Sam drives
I plan to talk to Rick and Phil at the OI and set a date for the event. Location we will vote on, but will be somewhere in the general vicinity of Red River, to E.Texas. Need input from all that support the event as for desired location. I thought TB was a great place, while others may like Red River better, or Rayburn ??? Input ???Dardanelle ???September 26-27 ?October 3-4 ?Oct 31-Nov 1 ?Any of these dates good ?Last edited by dbasketman on March 17th, 2014, 3:01 pm, edited 1 time in total.
Ill be turning in my weekend work dates for the rest of the year in the next month or so. Ill see which of those dates works best for me and give my vote.Jim EbarbMany, LA (Toledo Bend Lake)2004 Cougar/ 225 OptimaxHumminbird Helix 12 Chirp SI on BalzOut Mount at bowLowrance HDS 7 at bowHumminbird Helix 12 Mega SI on Ram Mount at ConsoleLowrance HDS 8 in dash at console
I would like to attend this event this year especially if it is on TB or Rayburn. FWIW, one thing to keep in mind with the dates you listed, is that Oct. 31-Nov.1 will most likely be the opening weekend of deer season, and I think TBCOE is typically held on that weekend as well. These may compete for attendance.
We look for TXBCOE to move forwards a few weeks.
A good summertime dardy tournament would be fun
The GAF could also be held earlier, just give us the word !
