With all the talk of stabil, startron, quickleen, seafoam, and who knows what else….From reading the bottles, I have gathered that all i need to run is Seafoam and Startron to cover pretty much everything? anybody else have a suggestion. I mean with gas prices getting so high, i am looking for the cheapest way to cover all negatives with the ethanol. I know there are several threads on here covering this topic and dont want to have a full discussion, WILL STARTRON AND SEAFOAM COVER ALL OF WHAT I NEED?

Ive run blue Stail & ring free in mine since the day I got it with zero gas problems. I have lots of yard equipment and blue Stabil has protected it as well.

I use Marine Stabil and Quickleen in every tank as advised by my good ole Mercury/BassCat guru! All the different brands of ethanol treatment are pertty much the same stuff. I imagine even the stuff to reduce carbon build up are probably the same as well.

I use Marine Stabil and Quickleen in every tank as well. Zero fuel related issues since 2001.Scott

My cats drink of choice is Stabil and Ring Free.

Startron and Seafoam……Sta-bil (blue preferred, red acceptable)and Quickleen or Ring Free, those are good combinations.Mercury/Quicksilver has come out with a 3 step for fuel treatment, cleaning and storage(for extended time).Ive always used Sta-bil red and the Quickleen or Ring Free. Ringfree and seafoam are decarbonizers. Both are excellent. Ringfree cost less per gallon most of the time in my experience. Startron and stabil are fuel additives for ethanol. I like startron– both work well though. Everyone has favorite for their individual engines.
