Hello all…Im replacing my gas line from the tank switch to the front of the motor.When I pulled the hose from the fuel selector value, it had really bright greenish “residue”.It resembled a bright version of “lock tight” for bolts.Is this just residue or is it some kind of leak preventative?Thanks everyone.(p.s.–my gas line didnt look bad at all. It had no discernable buildup of anything within the hose)
