Ha, aha, ha! Well it really is simple. Just remove the seat box (pan) and remove the hose from the fuel tank. Slip the tank back, and insert the red piece into the to of the fuel tank neck. The insertion is not easy, though you can force it down using the fuel cap notch with the fil cap removed, and then tamping it down. Lubricate it with Petroleum Jelly for the insertion. Then reassemble. You will really like the results. BCB
