Gas tank question (yes, Ive read the FAQ)

I have read the FAQ topic that includes a description of the gas tank layout and operation. However, Im a bit confused because my boat doesnt appear to have the gas tanks specified in that post. I have a 2003 classic that has 2 separate gas tanks in the bilge, each appears to be exactly the same size, one port and one starboard. From reading the description it sounded like one should be larger, the second being a 10-gallon kicker tank. Do I have a non-standard configuration, or am I missing something? Both tanks appear to be about 20 gallons or a bit more. So, just how much gas will the boat hold?

If you contact parts with your boat serial # they will be able to tell you exactly what was installed in your boat. Id guess both tanks would be of equal size if they are the only tanks you have though Im not sure what size that would be. They also would be able to tell you if normal pull is from both tanks or if its one side or the other. Be patient when calling, they are starting their sale season so it can be a little busy now until the new year.

Yours should be twin 21 gallon fuel tanks and those would be the last year for that configuration.
