If you are talking about the red plugs that look like hollow shot gun shells. Place them in the fill spout of your tank then put your fill hose over the spout. They are to prevent fuel from splashing out on your boat while fueling up.
They insert in the neck of the tank after removing that hose connection. Then slip those inserts in the tank neck. The ends should be cut out on the piece. BCB Admin.
