gel coat or fiberglass cracks?

i recently bought a 94 pantera II and have noticed that there are numerous cracks on the top cap. most of them seem to be near where hardware is mounted , but not all of them. the question i have is are these cracks in the glass or gelcoat, and how can i tell the difference? also, if anyone has any repair tips, it would be much appreciated.

That is hard to answer as those usually are behind the gelcoat inbetween the laminate. These are often expansion and newer boats dont have as common in those areas as BCB chamfers those holes now. We would not worry about them unless they are more than cosmetic.

Around the rails, it could be cosmetic more than anything. You could take some pictures of the areas with a description and email them to BC. They could offer some advice. will take some pics of them see what what comes up. even if they are cosmetic though, i would like to repair them, if its possible. im kind of particular about my boat. even though this one is a fixer upper, i keep it covered and out of the weather.
