When I needed some black gel for my boot and called Alan, he told me the black gel was “just plain black”, and I could get it just about anywhere. The guy I had fix the chip in my hull did just that, and it worked out fine.
There are dozens of Blacks and the one BCB uses is a pure black with no pigments and talcum powder filler which causes chalking.
