Gel coat / surface restoration?

Clear Gel coat!!if it was mine, Id skip the sanding and compounding processes, just buff it with a grey waffle pad using a good polish such as Meguirs 205 Ultra Finishing Polish. This will give a minimum cutting action to your clear. Being a Puma, surely it dont need much cut to get down to the good stuff. Just my opinion.

There is clear gel coat as your first layer. Wet sanding gives you a fresh surface to start with when buffing. If it is not bad use 2000 grit and Pro Tec Nu Paint Moisturizer, that product has an excellent track record, it is available thru the Basscat store. You can talk to Steven in the parts dept.
