Danny. Had a HDS 10 on front of my Eyra with Ram mount. A real PITA! Takes a pounding in rough water. Trolling motor control cables always laying across screen. Tripped over the thing so many times trying to get into the Cat I took Ram mount off last night and mounted the HDS 10 in the well.
I have a 1159 up front on a RAM mount and to me its overkill. I cant stand the RAM mount and I get pissed everytime the troller cables get hung up in it when i lift the trollingmotor out of the water. I like the big screen, but overall it is a PITA as said above.
