Truman can be really good this time of year in March and April. Summer brings different fishing and fall can be either way.

Y ou have Truman,lake of the ozarks,Stockton and pomme and all within an hour or less drive great fishing.lool me up

I fished Truman several times back in the 80s and 90s. I love that lake. Dont know what its like now, but back then, you could almost always catch some quality fish there. Its a huge lake!! The best luck I had there was in early June.

Saw your post on BBC, didnt know you were a Bass Cat guy. If you need a good marina for your cat you can count on Midwest Marine in Harrisonville. Jay can hook you up with Jerry or I for a day or two at Truman. Just let us know when you get moved in!!

pops77s you may want to think about changing your photo, us MU guys may leave you hanging on the first big tree we bump into, ha. We could probably get a black and gold logo if you want???

A good lake except after heavy rain as it muddies up quickly. Make sure you keep a spare prop and wrench in your boat. And bring some giant 14 in. worms to swim through the trees during the summer.
