Can anyone tell me if the Gill tournament jacket hood is removable or at least rolls up? I have contacted Gill NA and the best they could tell me is “I dont think it does.”

I’m not home right now but I’m pretty sure it doesn’t. I’m looking at some photos I just took with my son wearing it with the hood up and don’t think you can take it off. My son and I both have the bibs and jacket and really like them. We’ve been getting our moneys worth lately, been raining about every day.

Thanks. Was looking at a picture of one on Amazon and it looks like he hood can tuck under a flap.

There’s two parts to the hood. Outer and inner layer. Someone will probably know for sure before me, I’m out of town until Thursday night to check but I can then if you don’t find out. I know weve never rolled them up.

I contacted Gill through their Gill Fishing Facebook page. They told me the hood in fact rolls up. I was hoping it did as sometimes it isnt raining enough to wear the hood, but I dont want it open and getting wet.

Looking to buy a new set of bibs and parka very soon. I hear the Gill is great and like the Bass Cat model, just not the color. Does the hood really work as advertised? I have the 100 MPH from Bass Pro and its not that good. Thoughts.
