what happens when the temp reaches 81 degrees in dec. I go fishing. it does not get any better than this. alabama river here I come.

Must be nice! Its complete ice around here! I have the Bas Cat Blues! Since the ice has hit! (guitar, preferably a Gibson Les Paul) duh da duh da, I have been missing my boat! (guitar) duh da duh da, the weather here sucks! (guitar) duh da duh da but I am saving the bucks! (guitar) duh da duh da, for my trip in May!!!! Ooh I have the Bass Cat blues!

I am surprised you arent curled up in the corner mumbling and crying I feel your pain, I grew up in IN and from December through March is a great excuse not to live there. albassmam do you fish around Prattville (home 6A state champions & Russ Lane) or are you up around Logan Martin. Had T out of Swift Creek Sunday and caught a lot of fish. Just looking for someone different to fish with every now and then.

I went today myself. Took a 2 1/2 hour drive to Mississippi. It was quite a bit slower than I expected as for the number of bites. We did manage a few nice fish though. We had a 6lber, 4lber, 3.5lbr and a couple of 2s along with some smaller ones. I think we ended up only catching 9 fish total. Sam, We made a little trip to Natchez. Ive had some good luck on the big boys in the past. I thought with the warm temps the big ones would be in the shallows which is the only way I can fish. Get me deeper than 10 feet and Id just as soon be in the ocean! Ill probably be going back in a couple of weeks. This is a good time of year to catch a Hog.
