Goodyear endurance trailer tires

Not a tire expert but these have excellent reviews. Anyone running these and if so what size? I have cooper 215/70/R15s and looks as if these goodyears are not in that size?

The norm would be 205/75/R15. Thats a normal trailer size. Height is very close to the 70 series BCB normally uses. Fit with no interference and really ups the load carrying to 2200+ per tire.Last edited by oldtimer57 on September 28th, 2017, 3:08 am, edited 1 time in total.

I just put a set on my Cougar trailer in mid June this year. Ive already got at least 5,000 miles on them as I pulled my boat up to Canada and Minnesota. They are wearing perfect and Im very happy with them so far. They carry 80lbs of air pressure and I can feel the slightly bumpier ride but they give me a piece of mind after having 3 of my Mastercrafts delaminate in less than 2 years!

I have had 5 blow outs with Cooper Cobras over the past few years. I replaced them with GY Endurance 65psi 205/75/15. So far so good. Maybe should have gone with the 80psi 225s but was apprehensive due to the larger size. Looking back there is enough room under the fenders. 205s have served me well so far, but if I had it to do over again I would indeed choose the 225s for the extra carrying capacity. Next time…

The only thing that is a concern, seems like ALL tires wear fine. Tread separation is not something that results from odd tread wear or whatever. I just replaced my Mastercraft Avenger GT tires. After a year of towing, they looked brand new. UNTIL one started to produce tread separation causing a vibration when towing. Fortunately I caught this before a blowout. When I took the tires off, one was wildly out of round and you could see where it was larger on one side where the tread was letting go internally. I am now using 8 ply 205/75 R15 myself, and cant tell much difference in how they tow as the MC tires towed just fine. 65 PSI certainly gives a nice load cushion since I have a single-axle trailer with a 19 classic on it. 4400 pounds + load carrying seems much safer than 3200 with the MC tires at 44 psi.
