I had a friendly chat with a Texas Trooper after seeing his red and blue in my rear view. I was pulled over b/c my trailer tag was missing. Im not sure if it was stolen, or simply lost along the way. I have the LED lights on my trailer and he issued me a warning for lack of red reflectors. For those of you in Texas, if you have LEDs that have the white back ground, even if they burn red, you need to get a couple of stick on red reflectors. I showed him the marker lights and he said, doesnt count. You need something that will reflect red when the trailer is not powered up by the truck. If you have the standard lights, you are in good shape. He was very nice, and let me sit in his cruiser while he ran the trailer VIN. Its amazing how much tech. law enforcement is using with their lap tops. He even printed my warning ticket from behind the center console. It sounded like a credit card machine. He laughed when I asked if he took Mastercard. Can I get a new tag holder in the parts section?
