Approx how much am I looking at to get this repaired? This is the only blemish on the boat, but man its killing me.My CatI Am Second

You can easily repair that spot. The process is not that difficult and this is a pretty simple repair. But of course it bothers you if you take immaculate care of the rig, it frustrates you every time you look at it. BCB

Mine has got one in the same place but about six inches long. It got in between the center and the outer part of the roller and got on the piece of steel the bolt goes thru, when i was loading the boat. I put one of the clear looking harder rollers on the trailer and got rid of the soft black rubber one and i havent had anymore trouble.

I think a black sharpie is a buck fity or so. I got so much black rubbber down my white hull in that area Id not know it if it was scratched. Go fishin enjoy your boat.

Go to a local marine shop who installs keel guards. I went to H&W although a Triton Dealer, he said he installs a few Keel Guards a month. He usually ends up cutting off several inches to a foot or so on each install. Ask him for a left over piece or order a 1 foot piece from Keelguard or Keel shield etc. Go home and fill the gouge with Marine Tex and after it dries put the Keel Guard on all the way up to the bow and Voila, it will never scratch the bow again all the way to the eye.

When I crack off a little bit of gel coat, like the sharp corners under the transom area, I use white caulk (I have white hull) to make a quick repair. No one knows it but me. It gets me thru fishing season. Got plenty of time in the winter to re-glass and wax.
