I just bought David Tuckers Eyra which had a 898 in the dash. I had a 1197 installed in its place. Now the speedometer which was linked to the 898 GPS will not work. Can anyone give me any input on what I need to do?

You need to call HB service and they can run you thought how to turn the internal switch on.

In HB advanced mode got to NMEA setting and turn it on. Do that you are good to go.

Shap you are right it is a fast machine. The lake i spend most of my time on is very low right now so I havnt been able to stretch it out yet; however, David assured me that high 80s was not a problem. I was following a Triton the other day with a 250 pro xs at about 73 or 74 and was below 5K RPMs and kept having to ease off of it to keep from getting to close. I will be glad when we get some water back in the lakes around here so I can push it a little bit.

WOW!! 70+ at less than 5000 rpms is very impressive. That must make for some pretty good gas mileage even though its a 300. I know I was sick when I saw him put it up for sale and wasnt ready to move on it. It was my dream rig. Set up just like I would want it. I know you are very proud of it.
