Need guidance on routing wiring from a led navigation strip to mount below the rub rail on a Puma Ftd. What power source in the front only comes on when you hit the “on” button for accessories at the console to turn on the navigation lights? Thanks
I haven’t done it on a Bass Cat, but I’m assuming you can do the same thing. Splice it in with the existing wiring from the original navigation light plug. It will already be wired to your navigation switch. The only change in your routine will be not plugging in the front light.
Please be aware that the L.E.D. strips , while quite bright and extremely visible , are not Coast Guard approved , and if the officer wants to he can right you a ticket for them . — Just an FYI thing . — Hoss
