The bracket that attaches the handrail to the cap has recently came loose. Bass Cat adviced how to fix, but I thought it was out of my league. So I was going to take it in this winter. In the meantime the handrail has now broken in the middle. I was just going to take the handrail out until I could have it fixed, but it has elec. wiring attached at both ends. I can operate the boat fine as long as someone is holding onto the rail or I keep putting it back in the bracket. Can I just cut the wires and remove the rail or do I need to just deal with the hassel until I can get if fixed?
