Flyswatter, In addition to the effort you go to in order to prep the hull, and then have it start to come off, what really scares me is a situation where you are running, and the thing starts to let go from the bow, and peels back down the keel and gets in the prop. If it wraps just right, you could have some serious control issues–not to mention the very real possiblity of a snapped drive shaft. For a couple hundred bucks, Im just not willing to take that chance. Im looking for ways to eliminate problems in my boats, not create the potential for them. Just my $.02– Mike Whitten/Germantown, TN
