I made my own used 1/4″ aluminium, made a template out of card board and cut all the pieces took it to a welder for $20
and coated with black bed liner.

Like to see a picture. Like to replace my 1199 in console with a helix 12. Need to see if enough space as I have a Helix 12 side mounted as well.

Only difference is the Helix 12’s are wider than a lowrance as the Helix’s have the new design vs the standard 1199

When you say you one side mounted, where is it? I would think it would be far enough to allow the other 12.

Getting a Sherman mount is the only issue. I’ve sent them two messages and to date no reply.

The only issue with a Sherm’s mount is the turnaround timing. Sherm is a one man band essentially at the dealership and he hand builds the mounts in his free time between sales, service, etc….. Getting customer’s boats repaired is a big part of his focus this time of the year. Getting a Sherm’s mount is an exercise in patience, but is well worth the wait.

The Sherm’s mount in the picture us available if anyone needs it, I pulled it off my 13 Puma FTD when the boat went away. They are sturdy, simple mounts.

I’m pulling a 9” out of my 2009 Puma and putting in a 12” Helix. If you think it will work I’ll take it

Send me the measurements of the graph it was made for and I’ll see how that compares to the helix 12. Don’t sell it, give me a few days to figure this out. I really need it if it works.
