On mine the cables on the head are to the right and up a little maybe 20 deg. Or so. Prop is also to the right when stored. Puts the pedal flat and not in a bind. Just how like it, but stored anyway that doesnt put the pedal to the max one way or the other is fine. Also with it sitting high like that it keeps the trolling motor of your rods. A couple trips with that fortrex and youll forget all about that Johnson.
Ok Cc, thanks!! Another question. Is the head supposed to be locked down. In other words, can you reach up and move the head with your hand, or once you have it to your liking, do you tighten it down there, so it dont move??
