Can anyone share a picture or recommend where/how to install Dual-Pro 3 bank charger correctly in battery compartment – replacing an inferior – small charger mounted on inside transom. Assuming needs to be mounted flat and flush, how/where is best location.Many Thanks!TT

On my 2004 Cougar, I cut a piece of 3/4″ plywood to fit across the sump from battery tray to battery tray. Its nothing fancy and it is easily removed. I then screwed the battery charger to the plywood. DONT MOUNT IT ! Put a rope handle on it, and cut off all the leads and install alligator clips and use it as a mobile charger, it will last forever that way, and your boat will lose that much weight !

I drilled and tapped some holes in the motor mounting plates on the inside of the transom and mounted 2aluminum flat bars vertically between the plates and then mounted the 3 bank dual pro to those. I will try to see if i can get some pictures in a few minutes.
