Mine does this from time to time, each time I had to reposition the plug to the truck, seems to jiggle lose a little and doesnt make good contact- corrects every time, so far.BAYOU BANDIT

I had a friend back in Indiana who said the same thing, that Armour All was great for vinyl seats. I tried to tell him not to use it. After about 2 years or less, his seats started to crack. I wish I had taken some pictures at the time. But he wouldnt have appreciated that due to my “I told you so” look that I gave him.

Sorry there Bama, we dont have any. Though let them use it, then they will figure it out. If you find a piece of vinyl that has had Armorall used on it, looked underneath the area where they have not used the Armorall. They will see that the non treated vinyl is soft and supple. The top will be hard and crisp. BCB

Also STP Son of a Gun does the same thing. We dont like the 3030 stuff either. Meguiars makes a Number 40 that appears it may work well. We have played with it the past few years. Though we have not tried the Turtle Wax or 3M vinyl conditioners.

Yes, though the Meguiars 40 we will know about for sure in a few more months of weathering.

Ive used the Protec vinyl conditioner on my 01 P-III and the seats and stitching are as good as new, though I only apply it every other year and that seems to be all that is necessary.

I learned my lesson the hard way about Armor All. I got schooled on that one too. Its good for tires and thats it. Dont put it on vinyl, plastic, leather, or anything else that you dont want cracking up. Chris CoupelPaulina, La.Chris CoupelPaulina, La.
