I noticed your BCB ads thru the years and was wondering, why are the 25th anniversary boats 97 models not 96? And what was the difference between the normal 97s and the special edition boats?

Limited edition colors/stripes, logos among other things. There were only a certain number built. Sorry to be descriptive, though here is the explanation and why. Most would celebrate 25 on the 24th actual year, with 25 different model years. Though here is our logic in being a full 25 years of age. Much like a birthday.September – 1971 Inception of Production1972 = 11973 = 21974 = 31975 = 41976 = 51977 = 61978 = 71979 = 81980 = 91981 = 101982 = 111983 = 121984 = 13 1985 = 141986 = 151987 = 161988 = 171989 = 181990 = 191991 = 201992 = 211993 = 221994 = 231995 = 241996 = 25September 1996 is 1997 Model Year and a full 25 years of Bass Cat boat production.
