Currently I have the Humminbird 1198 in dash of my 2013 Cougar FTD. I like the lowrance Touch 12 but tring to see if it is worth the work to change it our to Lowrance. Will a 12″ Touch fit in the dash in place of the 1198, or will I have to put in a “Filler” plate?Thanks,Eric

I bet Sherm can fix you up. IMO You would like a Sherms Mount better than in dash anyway.Dan

We think you will be able to go to a 12″ touch unit.

The dash mounts are nice, but the Sherm mount is nicer IMHO. It pulls your graph a touch closer to your eyes, and it raises it above the steering wheel.
