Been playing around in my shop and decided I would try to self educate on hooks and mainly hook keepers. Picked up about 3 sizes of heat shrink and some of hooks I use w/out keepers, cut a few sample pieces threaded them on shank, heated, and shaped. They do resemble a “keeper” but something just not looking perfect. Has anyone on here tried to “re-man” hook keepers and to what success if any did you have? Any tips or dos or donts would be appreciated.
Bobber stopperx2, tungsten, barrel swivel trapping head of plastic, snell knot. Ive bought all sorts Andy and for me everything else tears the bait. Also, hard to tie snell knot behind a keeper.C.O.D. Jr. III
