I need to move my hot foot over about 6-8 inches for my comfort im a tall ol boy and the place where it is at now puts me in a bind . Will there be anything wrong with me doing that and can i just screw it into the floor without harming the hull any ???
This is not enough information forus to answer, and the more informed staff of BCB is pretty tied up with the Owners event this week. They will need model and model year though.
yeah im going to move it towards the center of the boat just about 10-12 inches so i was hopeing that it wouldnt interfer with anything there i really wish i could just take it out and use the hand throttle im 6ft 5 and its hard on long runs to keep my leg that short LOL . thanks for the input
OK BCB ill wait till next week and call the factory and see what they say Have fun at teh OI sorry i am going to have to miss it but my daughters graduation comes first !! have a great Tournament !!!
take the slider off and mount straight to the floor, that shopuld help some, it works for me, 66″!! and angle slightly, I will get a picture on here of my setup.Pete
Yup,Im 66″ also and need to move mine as well.Ive got an older Pantera II and assume as you move it towards the front, you need to move it closer to the middle of the boat to prevent running a screw though the hull.A pic would be great Scubaman. Thanks, Ben.
My 06 CougarFTD had the hotfoot mounted more toward the center, my 09 has it on the side, but the floor design of the 09 accomodates that. You could take it out and hook the cable to the hand throttle, it may well take a somewhat shorter cable to do that though.
