What would cause my hot foot to stick at about half throttle? I got to one of my fishing spots this weekend and let off the gas and it kept on going, about a mile up river I thought about pulling pedal back with my foot, but I need to get this fixed. The boat is only about a month old

I just lubed mine, and still have to watch it , sometimes idles too high, etc,,, You need to check the cable routing, and see if its binding or kinked somewhere, if not check the pedal itself, and lube well, work a few times and see if it will free up. Also may not have enough spring tension on it ? This is , in my mind at least the #1 potential problem with these things, and another reason BCB wont reccommend them. Also the #1 reason for imploding gearcases.

Had mine WFO and had to pull it back with my foot. Found a piece from a cork I had pulled out of the water stuck in it!
