I have an original Hot Foot already mounted in my PIII. I would like to upgrade to a Hot Foot Pro with the top connecting cable and plan to add a slide plate for adjusting it. Can anyone tell me if the existing throttle cable used for the original Hot Foot can be used, or will it need to be replaced with a different cable? Thanks! Jim

Sounds like your asking about a brand and we would go T & H and we would put it on a slide also. Use a high quality OEM cable and not an aftermarket. The other part we think your inquiring about is the trim stalk levers, which are Teleflex and called a Pro Trim. BCB

T&H Universal Hot Foot will work for you. If you have anyone that ever drives your boat (fishing partner, child, etc.) other then you, I would recommend the slide plate. Its great for making fast adjustments on the hot foot rather then having the hot foot bolted directly to the floor. Top load is different though those lower loading to rear are 2 longer than std. Cables.
