you should be able to slide it forward if you have a slide mount, and even being 65″ youre still gonna feel uncomfortable, you probably have have to keep the nose of the pedal pointed towards the passenger side though, garry wright from basscat warned me of this that if it isnt at an angle and you move it closer to the driver gunwal you will screw thru the hull of your boat, Im 58″ and even with my slide all the way back, i still have difficulty holding the pedal down without my foot going numb on a 40mi run, good luck. hope it helps.

Thats it, Bud, Had it now for 3 yrs and never(knock on wood) has let me down. On long runs or when your okd knees hurt, the cruise is the cats meow. Works like a car, mash button to set ,mash down on hotfoot to release or use button, just keep pressure on foot so it wont shut down to fast.that box you see is mounted on my seat pole, you keep the throttle cable under the cowl for emergency.No cable to hotfoot.
