It is my understanding that Champion Boats have stop production and I noticed that Skeets jersey did not have mention any references to Champion. It would be awesome if he was part of the family .

Right now the price tag on that little ol sponsorship would be more than a few free pairs of Wiley X glasses as I figure those hair higlights aint cheap.My guess is that hell have to stay in the Platinum Equity line(Ranger) unless Platinum pushes him out, cuts his deal tremendously, or hurts his feelings bad enough.Also that would put quite a few “bulls” in the same “pen”. Its all about the money and the real question is do we all want to pay more for our next boat to have him run one of ours? I feel he will bring a following of others with him and increase sales but will it be enough to help offset the cost of his sponsorship? Im glad that its not me crunching them numbers, and yes I would like to have him and KVD in a Cat. Just something to think about.

I dont think you will see KVD in a Bass Cat unless D and R sports in Kalamazoo becomes a Dealer…..I love Bass Cats but those Champions run really well on the big water up here also….I hope they dont go out of business it is nice to have choices…

Personally I did not purchase my Cat because Joe Blow the Pro runs one, I chose BassCat because of the quality of the boat, extensive dealer network, layout and design, and top notch factory support. I am not really sure how many boats BassCat sells because of the pro-staff influence but I would think that it is a minor consideration in these tough economic times!

I think there are a lot of us that follow a pro because he wheels a Basscat like us instead of following the boat because particular pro drives one. Quality boat and ride plus made/owned by good folks here in the States is why I bought mine, Im sure Im not alone.
