Give it up for the Irish! They (and I) will be heading to Miami to play (SEC) whoever! I will be there – GO IRISH!!! So happy, been a long time since weve been able to celebrate like this!

TEXAS A&M right now may be the best team in the nation . lost two games early buy a total of eight points , with a redshirt freshman qb,that last night broke the rushing and passing record. bet the sec wishes they would go back to the big 12.

Nope, SEC enjoys the competition. A&M was much better prepared than what most gave them. But, they did lose two games early, and Florida was one of them that won at A&M. Thats what makes the SEC the best conference, week in and week out, there were no “gimme” games in the SEC.Are they the best team in the nation? They are the best 2 loss team, thats for sure.As for ND, Im happy to see them back in the national title scene. A defense that is pretty well disciplined and tough to score on inside the red zone. Why? More competition = better teams. The dog barking the whole game is annoying but the band is great, the girls are getting prettier, and this years team is awesome! Live it up and bring it in! Heck I am an Arkansas fan and thats my take and we suck. But but but…that same super competitive SEC will be a large part of the reason we may get a decent coach plain and simple and probably didnt hurt recruiting Summerlin either.C.O.D. Jr. III

A&M , MISSOURI looking to upgrade , SEC the best way to go . big 12 good teams but need to learn to promote the big12 better. all bout $$$$$$$ to build a better sports program. look for the SEC & BIG 12 to combine to make one under the SEC heading . then leave the NCAA . then look for PAC10 , BIG10 to combine then leave the NCAA. THEN YOU PAY THEM TO PLAY!!!!!!

Was watching ESPN this morning. Gotta give props to the Irish. They have toughen up their schedule if you believe the ESPN report is accurate. Not sure how they come up with those numbers???Irish schedule ranked 14th toughestBama schedule ranked 29th toughestGeorgia schedule ranked 61st toughestShould be a good NC game. Still believe ND would not be undefeated if they played in the SEC. If there was a 4 team playoff Id be scared of T A&M if they were ranked that high. They are a legitimate dark horse team improving late in the season.

No doubt Ill be pulling for whichever SEC team faces the Irish. But, anyone who says they arent impressed with how the coaching staff and the players for Notre Dame have resurected that program is just off thier rocker. The fact is that for the last 10 years Notre Dame has not been relevent in the college football world yet they were always ranked and hyped above what they deserved. Well, that has changed this year and they probably deserve more credit than they are getting.They played a tough schedule, won all of thier games regardless of how close some of them were. They have done what they needed to do and certainly deserve to be in the National Championship game!!NOW, ROOOOOLLLLL tide and GOOOOOOO Bulldogs!! I agree, if the IRISH were in the SEC they wouldnt be undefeated BUT they play it smart. Think about it, ALL their $$$ are theirs, no split with a conference. Licensing, ticket sales, NBC $$$ is all theirs. Yes, they pick their schedule three years out, teams pay to play ND. W.F. sold tickets in the grass-go figure! They have always played Big 10 power houses, but the shift is in the SEC for sure now. From a AD aspect, who cares, the millions ND football brings in is priceless. Enough to let baseball, basketball, and every other sport go to the Big East. Football stays independent – bringing nearly $70 million of the $95 million athletic budget. Coupled with a $6 Billion (with a B) endowment, who needs conferences? Its all about the mighty dollar folks. Winning (Im sorry to say) is second. With that said, if ND didnt have the academic restrictions they have, TRUST ME, theyd be a SEC killer. How can Landry Jones be an academic all american with a 2.88 g.p.a? That would just be getting off of academic probation at Notre Dame.
