How can I add a pumpout on my 01 sabre? tee into the drain hose????

It is a fairly simple process, and the outlet will fit, and the accessory switch on your dash will power it. Pump, fitting, hose and clamps, install and the hardest part is the wiring at the dash and fishing it through the boat. We also have seen a few use the bilge pump switch and just activate the pump out with a separate switch at the rear. Makes wiring simple. BCB

You dont want to tee into the drain. You need to drill a hole for the pump in the livewell wall. Then the outlet for that pump will go to a thru hull fitting that you will need to drill into the transom. Then as BCB mentioned wire that pump to an accessory switch somewhere in the cockpit. I hope that helps but it is two drillings for the pump and one drilling for the switch, pull wires and mount everything and you are ready to go. Good luck, someone with average mechanical skills can do it. Judd Lasiter

were is the best place to drill the hole in the livewell. It looks like its going to be hard to get too.

Depending on the yr of Sabre, if it is rear gas tank, you will have to pull the gas tank. Then in the lowest part of the livewell there will be a flat spot…opposite the existing pump if you have recirc. JL
