Topic: How do you remove the white sleeve for a seat support

I broke the white insert that supports my butt seat how does one go about removing the white Insert

When you first get into owners forum, go up in search and put in “pedestal seat insert” and you will find a host of threads on the removing and replacing the insert. Its not fun or for the faint of heart….. (involves big hammers and hard strikes!) Good luck.Brian

I just took the blade out of a hacksaw and cut the insert lengthwise. Fine tooth blade and jigsaw works well, clamp your seat post in vise makes it alot easier

For the white bushing I drlled with a 1.125″ dell bit relieves it enough to pry it out. If not then you only have .062″ to saw thru2013 PANTERA 2MERCURY 200 PRO XSMINNKOTA 80LB FORTREX25 fury
