Here is a picture I wanted to pass along on how I filled in my 700 graph so I could mount my 900. I have two pieces of .09 aluminum 1″ larger than the opening, one on the inside and outside. Then a piece of 3/16 cut to the size of the opening of the 700 graph and this is sandwich between the .09 plate. This allowed me not to drill any holes or cut the dash further, so down the road if I want to go back to the old graph I can. It does better than I thought in rough water.

I cant take credit for it but this is what the previous owner did (see first picture). Same type plate but used two short ram mounts for my LCX-27. Works nice as screen is pretty much like a heads up display just below the very top of the windshield. Check out the custom hot foot set up too. That looks great also. How big is a LCX-27? Is it any problem to see over?

Thats one thing that would be great for BCB to sell as an accessory is a dash plate. The other guys have them and it makes the dash look original and finished to have a manufacturers plate in the area. Nothing against what you did – its a great looking plate and extremely functional. Im actually looking at getting an uncut plate for the speedometer hole to ram mount a bigger unit and having two units at the helm. The 7″ where I can run just sonar and a 900 series that will run gps when Im planed out and SI idling around. Any more an analog speedometer is a useless gauge on the console – you get your speed info from the gps anyway.

LCX -27 is 9 1/8″ W x 6 3/4″ H and 3 3/4 deep give or take an 1/8″. Screen is 5 1/2 x 4″. No problems seeing over it with this set up (sorry dont have a picture with unit in place). Top of the unit is about level maybe a tad higher then the top of windshield. Note Im pretty short at 5 7″ so if I can see over it about anyone can… I have a question though. The steering wheel appears to be able to be tilted with the little button below the wheel. My button doesnt budge or does the wheel.
