Need step by step process to change swing away tongue due to corrosion from it looks to be break fluid on the master cylinder on install. Also need guidance on bleeding air from line. Our son will be doing the install. This is on a puma with single surge breaks

Actuator change is pretty simple and straight forward. Pull a couple pins, remove a brake line and a electrical connection to the solenoid. Bleeding the brake system. Go to ufp website it gives step by step directions. Brake bleeding is done many different ways. Free bleeding, manually bleeding, or machine or device bleeding. Many videos on this. Would be my suggestion for a first timer. Pick your technique.

ok. first anesthetize the patient with a combination of sevoflurane propofol and oxygen. next give him a dose of sux and wait for fasiculations to stop. should be relaxed now, gonna need a 7 et tube and a mac blade. put the ent tube between the cords and switch him to the vent. may need some fentanyl for stimulation from intubation. watch your pressure. ok next prep the belly to get the appendix out…..

point is- instructions over the internet likely to lead to problems.

We have our challenges on why the coupler and pivot need replaced. We understand the coupler itself as a removable part. The pins remove and it slides out.

BassCat boats somewhere along the process of the brakes being bled after the master cylinder install a film of brake fluid escapes the top cap and got on the surrounding metal at the factory. This has resulted in extensive corrosion on a trailer just a little over 1 year old

If the trailer is just over a year old we want to assess,through your dealer or another, if the issue is warranty related. If that is the case we will be glad to assist on the repair depending on the situation and what you have. We don’t want customers on boats less than 2 year of age to be out of their pocket on repairs.
