how to remove the spacer bars in the battery trays

After seeing all the previous posts concerning cranking batteries I am looking to get a sears platinum group 31 battery since they are on sale . Will that battery fit in the aluminum battery tray without having to remove the spacer bars . If not how do you do you remove those bars. On my old 2005 puma it looked simple .These trays look slightly different . Everyone have a great thanksgiving

It fit in my 07 Puma, not sure if its the same battery tray? Im sure there is a way to make it fit. Great battery so far.

You will need to remove the spacers and you will need a phillips screw driver. One screw per spacer.

Thats it, same trays as your 2005.

Took a closer look and realized that the spacer bars were already removed ,maybe by dealer ?? That is what was throwing me off since I didnt notice them
